Jazz Intensive at New England Music Camp

The Jazz Intensive at NEMC is a two-week immersion program into the world of both traditional and contemporary jazz for High School Students, ages 14-18. From jazz theory and small ensemble work, to the traditional big band sounds, this program is for students looking to advance their education in Jazz and will be limited to 30 advanced students. The daily schedule includes a variety of classes, private lessons specifically for jazz, and rehearsals within the multiple groups. The Jazz Intensive is coordinated by New York City-based trombonist, arranger, and educator, Alan Ferber.

Faculty-selected repertoire will be distributed prior to camp for admitted campers. Students who are not offered a position will have their deposit/tuition refunded.
